I know that right now, tracking your business’s numbers seems like just a pain in the butt; something you have to do so you can file your taxes. With your taxes due, or maybe past due, you know you’ll have to get things in order somehow just to avoid getting in trouble. And yes, I can take that work off your hands. But the truth is that good accounting is supposed to serve YOU, not the state, by giving you the information you need to make key decisions about managing and expanding your business. Why not get both results at the same time?
I have 30+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping and general business administration. I’ve used Quickbooks Online* and Quickbooks Desktop as well as many other accounting platforms. As a four-time entrepreneur myself, I have a deep understanding of the challenges of running a business and the importance of having numbers you can count on to make crucial business decisions.
Fully remote bookkeeping is BULL. Call me old-fashioned, but I need to look someone in the eyes to know what they’re all about, have a real conversation about what you’re up to, and lay my hands on all the little scraps of paper needed to do my job well. I work anywhere within about 30 miles of Elkin, NC, which includes Wilkesboro, Statesville, Mt Airy, Pilot Mountain, King, Sparta, Yadkinville, Mocksville, Lewisville, and Clemmons. I live on a farm in Jonesville, NC, and unless you also want to buy some pigs or goats, I’ll come to your office to work as much as necessary. Yes, there are some parts I can do remotely.
Just to be clear: I don’t do taxes; that’s a job for a CPA or tax professional. But I will prepare and package up all the info they need very neatly with a bow on top.
